At first look, this may seem to be a picture of clouds up in a blue sky- it is in fact the TOP of clouds against the blue ocean or the caribbean from over head in a plane! It was so pretty!

our last day here- a beautiful place, but we are both ready to go home- miss the kids so much and wish they could have come here too!
Tuesday, February 4
Dan was on a golf outing all day, so I spent the ENTIRE day sitting on the beach reading and sleeping......heavenly! ( oh yeah, and drinking pina coladas......)
Saturday, Feb 1
we should be in curacao, laying on the beach- but no, we are spending the whole day in the Miami airport waiting for our 4pm flight. when we finally did arrive in Curacao that night, there had been a massive rain storm that knocked out power ( which meantdark rooms, no AC, no showers, no toilet) arrive earlier dumping 5 inches of rain. the pool was out of commission for 3 days, thank goodness they got the power back before midnight, but it was sure the topper for the past 2 days!
Friday, january 30
we left today for curacao.....but did not get there. spent the entire day stuck in Philly with a broken plane, only to make to Miami 4 hours after our connecting flight. we were graciously accomodated in a hotel sporting a cockroach the size of my thumb.......yee ha.
Thursday, January 29
Nikkis practice test for her spelling test at home.........at school, she didn't get one single word correct. again. the real testing begins next week for learning disabilities- she has struggled all year, and is not making much progress.
