we left today for curacao.....but did not get there. spent the entire day stuck in Philly with a broken plane, only to make to Miami 4 hours after our connecting flight. we were graciously accomodated in a hotel sporting a cockroach the size of my thumb.......yee ha.
Please tell me you at least got some free tickets out of that mess! That is SO not fair that you had to miss a day of your vacation. Blah!
ReplyDeletewell, the real sticker was- my husband had upgraded us to 1st class for the whole trip, but when we had to get on the later flight, there was only ONE 1st class seat available.......so i spent the whole trip sitting 3 rows back of 1st class, watching my husband get served free food and all the wine he could drink, while crammed in a window seat next to 2 other large people who had never flown before and were freaking out! We are at trying to get reimbursed for what we paid for my 1st class upgrade on that leg of the flight.
